Learn Scales and Practice Patterns

The scale tool can be used for a variety of reasons. At its core, the scale tool can act as a glossary for most common scale types. Using the 12 key interface, you can quickly transpose any scale you choose. The interface also allows you to shift scales up or down an octave, display scales at different in multiple octaves (1, 2, 3, 4, or Full Range), and display accidentals using sharps or flats. The scale interface has a built in pattern generator to influence variety while learning scales. For the standard pattern, most scales include sticking combinations to explore fluidity with different shapes on the keyboard.
