# Chords

The chords tool is very similar to the scales tool. It includes all the same functionality. Unique to the chord interface is a voicing generator. You can use the preset button to view a catalog of 4 mallet or piano voicings, or hit the randomize button to let it select for you. After customizing your chord, drag it to the loading dock to use for later. Once you have all the chords you want docked, you can name and save your own custom chord preset
